As of today, November 29th, xxxx, our boy Blitz has been with us for xxxx days! He is a special needs dog which is not trusting of all that he meets but does now have a large circle of friends to which he is very friendly. We have been working with him to better socialize him and get him to accept new people. Nothing would make us happier than to see this great dog go home for the holidays to someone who knows the Staffordshire terrier breed and is strong of hand and kind of heart. Blitz was found abandoned and tied to a telephone pole down in Georgia by a homeless man who brought him up north to New Hampshire. When he could no longer take care of Blitz, he turned him over to us at Above the Notch Humane Society. It is recommended that he be the only animal in the household and that there be no small children. Our Blitz deserves a forever home and we know that there is someone out there just for him!
